Venus goes direct in Libra

Everyone, back to falling in love!

 

Breathe a sign of relief if you were one of those people who couldn’t cut a break in love, money or even squeezing out good hair days as of late. Good news is there was a reason for that mayhem and it was a VENUS IN RETROGRADE — a trying period when all things dealing with love, beauty and pleasure go haywire and swing you from emotional extreme to emotional extreme, while also, at times, skewing your vanity. However, November 18^th marked the day when the insanity officially ended, giving us just one more week of its aftershocks before fully subsiding its dastardly power, which took hold on October 8^th in intense Scorpio (which then re-entered indecisive Libra on November 7^th, where it will stay until November 29th, until it returns to Scorpio until January 7^th, 2011 (an extra long SEXY stay!!!)).

Yes, now with Venus direct, going back in forward motion, this is the time to get back to falling in love, feeling beautiful and learning how to enjoy life, without white knuckles! …and while many of you might have heard of Mercury retrograde, where everything dealing with communication tends to break down, that happens mostly 3 times a year for approximately 3 weeks. Venus retrograde happens once every 1.5 years, for approximately 6.5 weeks — and often hitting issues closer to home, as instead of mental aggravations, these are emotional ones. So, typically the lesson of each is always of letting go of something, as all retrogrades always deals with the past in some way and helping move one into the future with more clarity. As for the areas and lesson this Venus direct hits for each sign, as in re-learning appreciation and owning pleasures derived from certain areas in your life, here’s the short list (which really picks up speed by Nov. 29th-Jan. 7th):
