Mars enters Pisces

If you don't like it, don't do it.

I wouldn't call myself lazy, but I certainly do not do things I don't want to do as often as possible. If I don't like it, I understand there is an obvious reason for that, and avoid it at all costs, as I see it as trusting my instincts and a sign to detour, as the goal is always to follow my happiness and if something I am doing doesn't contribute to it on some way, then I will not RSVP to it.... Not to say I am a hedonist, because I do get balance is part of the whole picture and that there are challenges to confront for the ultimate prize, but in the larger sense, I refuse to go against myself and force feelings or actions that are inauthentic...because honestly, it feels so much more agonizing, it would be wrong to submit to it....

So I say with pride I was born with a Mars in Pisces! ...and although most places you would go to, to inquire about these matters would say it's a bad combo, as it's an aggressive planet being strung along by a a dreaming dilly dallier -- all I have to say to that is WTF is actually wrong with that? It's idealism that makes the world go round, and Mars in Pisces is merely that reminder to say fuck it to the shit you don't like to do and focus on the things you do love to do, that have positive connotations, as this is what adds good to your world, as in feeling you have a purpose and being a contributor... and knowing when you're feeling good, to me, it's a sign you're doing good...and moving in the right direction. After all, it's about being who you want to be and no matter the roles you wish to take on, isn't happiness the end result? So even despite the odds, as no one ever knows when they are the exception to the rule, I've always believed on making decisions and taking actions that reinforce you are that one in a million, as in why settle for less?...and this is what Mars is Pisces actually is all about....So, knowing this now, know you have until April 2 to sort it out...

...and on a side note, so apropos to discover this show that I TOTALLY LOVE -- Psychic Kids...I tried watching it before, because I totally love this kind of stuff...but it just never caught on with me...but the other day, I really paid attention and HOLY SHIT, soooooo good! I love how Chip or who ever the psychic that is on (I totally prefer Chip though, bitch totally brings it.) will go through the house, giving their impressions...then the kids get sent in and they do their readings of the situation and HOW CRAZY SIMILAR THEY ALL ARE!!!!!!!....LOVE IT!!!!....and totally have a crazy fascination of Lizzy Borden, that whole thing scares me--and this one is at the Lizzy Borden House!!!!!!!! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH ...click below and get as freaked out as me!

Play, love, laugh, express yourself.

Full Moon in Leo

Live out your biggest visions, despite its price...

One of my favorite shows when I was growing up was Fantasy Island. I was crazy for the idea of this magical paradise somewhere out there, where all your dreams could come true. Sure, it always came with repercussions that taught nothing comes without a price; however, I use to negate that part, believing there had to a loophole to get what I want without penalty or be taught a lesson that was more valuable than painful...So, yeah, I use to fantasize all day long about my various wishes...Chances are all my hopes back when were about having Simon LeBon be madly in love with my precocious prepubescent ass, which was disguised in some kind sort of perfect supermodel character type. Who knows...The fact was, no one ever left Fantasy Island unhappy.

So, yes, love the show...couldn't find full episodes, but found these delightful mini ones...The first two are the original (#1, yeah, Joan Collins and #2, yeah, zombies) and the last is some modern version with Mr. Roarke without Tattoo (boo), which I only included because it had Charo in it and I love her.

Venus enters Capricorn

The scared straight program of love.

When you stick the pleasure planet into discipline mode, with serious details to sort through, there will be issues. After all, to all action, there is a reaction and the consequences aren't always pretty. Depending on how stupid or sincere you've been, the score starts to get settled now and no matter what side of the rainbow your affairs fall, dealing with all the responsibilities will hardly be easy, as it may mean an emotional white-knuckle ride requiring a lot of waiting, negotiating, compromising and building....The good news, once its over (March 1), you'll never be the same in the best way possible.

Video Bonus!
One of my favorite TV shows, National Geographic Channel's Banged Up Abroad (UK)/Locked up Abroad (USA). The most stressful TV watching experiences ever, true life stories of people that got busted and sent to prison abroad.

New Moon in Aquarius

The future now.

Today is the eve of Chinese New Year, launching the year of the Metal Rabbit, 4708! This means a new cycle of luck that is all about diplomacy, intellect and graciousness in victory is about to begin!

...So, to make the most of it, here are a few ancient Chinese superstitions to follow and ensure your upcoming year will wind up as ideal as possible. Do these things today...or as soon as you can...Ideally done on the first day or eve of, but since Chinese New Year festivities last as long as two-weeks, as it starts on a new moon and ends at the next full moon, procrastinators still wanting to score come luck can do the following:

  • Sweep all the dirt out of your home to symbolically clear out the preceding year's negativity.
  • Wear red on New Years to ward off evil.
  • Wear a new outfit to symbolize a new beginning and color-code your look to call upon what you want. Red for love. Green for money. Blue for peace. Yellow for happiness. Orange for success. Purple for spirituality. Avoid white, it symbolizes death.
  • Eat double of everything this day, to ensure your New Year is bountiful. (Do it for the entire two-weeks if necessary. After all, there's nothing wrong being safe than sorry....Although realize this isn't a Chinese tradition, just one I'm implementing.)
  • Put blooming flowers or new plants in your home for longevity.
  • Avoid distress on New Year's, as it's a day to spend setting the pace for your upcoming year. To set it up properly, only do things you love...i.e. sleep in, eat what you love, buy whatever, hang with people you enjoy, etc....and if you're Asian, do all these things twice as much!
