Uranus Goes Direct In Aries

Turn your head for a minute and....
She was used up fast.

Strange winds will be blowing again, in new and sporadic patterns that will move you ahead into trying new methodologies towards your identity,  your status, your aggression and what you are willing to put up with for the whole of humanity.
Oh yes, it's all about you and making your own rules, as this is a planet that will be by your side for those powerful experiments and explorations.

Full Moon in Aries Eclipse

-->Saying No To The Cosmic Vampire

Set your alarm, because if you want to see an omen of drastic change to come, be ready for the blood moon eclipse in Aries on October 8, at 6:51AM EST (visual from most of the continental US, if only partial).

It’s the second part of the Aries/Libra eclipse cycle that began in April 2014, forcing the hand to restructure areas of life, including: partnerships, justice, leadership, courage, peace and war. Yes, a daunting selection of choices in which fate will blow, but keep in mind that to every down there is an up and despite the drama eclipses bring, it’s ultimate power is to give strength.

As for cool hits of energy that can happen during this eclipse, there are several. (Note: 5 days before and after is the typical time when eclipse energy can strike — as well as the month to the day prior and after.)

1.     Making up will end a war.
2.     Invention ideas can be gold.
3.     A spontaneous trip to somewhere you’ve never been.
4.     Gut instincts that save you.
5.     Claiming your turf.
6.   Creating new ways to get ahead, faster
7.     Flaunting your looks and all that you got.

Venus Enters Aries

Hmmm, feels a lot like a hate-fuck...

As you should know, Venus is the planet that rules pleasure, so when it enters a sign like Aries, it's all about the fire, aggression and immediacy. It's a confusing phase, as what drives you the hardest is what typically pisses you off the most. Yes, it's going to feel a lot like a hate-fuck, when dirty-yummy-whoring-twists bring you in and out of visceral passions that make you feel as if your guts are being seared out, but also as if the sun only shines for you.

So, feed your fury with fire, as this is the time when turning up the heat all the way is the only way to get hot and to get anything good from it all will mean hitting the pedal to the metal on everything that scares, challenges, confuses or aggravates. Make it all about you and fate will not fail you -- and you'll have until May 28th to complete this mission.

As for what, per sign (and rising), to place your energies for best results:
Aries: Image, new ideas and your integrity.
Taurus: Charity, inner peace and artistic endeavours.
Gemini: Group projects, technological ventures and your individuality.
Cancer: Career, authority and status.
Leo: Spirituality, travel and teaching.
Virgo: Sex, money and power.
Libra: Partnerships, balance in your environment and beauty.
Scorpio: Health, time-management and detailed-work.
Sagittarius: Creativity, performance and romance.
Capricorn: Ancestry, money for rainy days and home.
Aquarius: Learning, community and communicating.
Pisces: Generosity, shopping and pampering.

Uranus Goes Direct in Aries

Rebel With A Cause

Uranus is back in action in full speed absurd mode, cruising at the altitude of Aries -- which means time to get back to fighting the fights for what you feel would be for the greater good of this world. From honing your ingenious thinking to combat a disease to enforcing tough love on a wayward pup, which ever is your contribution, believe in it as it will save the world and so it shall be, so says Uranus in Aries.

Full Moon Eclipse In Aries

There are going to be causalities.

Today begins the Aries and Libra eclipses that will continue into 2016. Yes, you read right, approximately 3 years of the forces of war and peace that will strike suddenly and periodically. It'll be as beautiful as reviling...and as for the dates for this to hit on or near, it'll be a 5 day window before and after or to the date a month prior or after:

October 18 2013 – Lunar Eclipse [25 Aries 45]
April 15 2014 – Lunar Eclipse [25 Libra 16]
October 8 2014 – Lunar Eclipse [15 Aries 05]
April 4 2015 – Lunar Eclipse [14 Libra 24]
September 28 2015 – Lunar Eclipse [4 Aries 40]
March 23 2016 – Lunar Eclipse [3 Libra 17]

These eclipses are the most relevant for Aries and Libra, bringing changes to identity and committed relationships. Whether is is work or personal, it's anyone's guess, but it's always about learning compromise, balance and command. There are many roles to maintain a healthy and productive relationship and in this cycle, you'll find out which ones suite you better, as it's time to update. Think of them as cosmic fastballs that you either hit or miss. Sudden decisions will come with an eclipse, so be ready to see the true strength of your impulses.

...And for tomorrow's, Aries and Libra born in their sign during the last week and a half of the sign's transit or have a rising sign of Aries and Libra in the later part of the degrees (which will need looking up by an astrologer or on the Internet with your birth time info on hand.) will be the ones with the highest chance of feeling tomorrow's lunar eclipse.

The next group after with the highest chance of affliction is Cancer and Capricorn (also later born and for rising sign), which will feel it in their home and career. This can bring a change of residence for work or dealings with family, foundations and status. But remember, eclipses bring opportunities or take them out. So, while one cycle can bring a vertical move, the next can pull a rug out from under you. It's all a throw of the dice with eclipses, as their lunar natures are moody.

...So, after that, there is Sagittarius and Gemini, Leo and Aquarius, Pisces and Virgo, and Scorpio and Taurus. Each will have a lower degree of eclipse action -- and if they are later born degrees in sun and rising. Sagittarius and Leo will be the next to feel some strife, but because it is an eclipse and they are known to work in twos--which in astrological terms, means the axis is the thing that gets affected. Think of it like a chain reaction. So, it's Sagittarius and Gemini, Leo and Aquarius--and an example of the eclipse can be a Sagittarius can meet someone they instantly connect with, but hooking up with that person can ruin a friendship.

With eclipses, there is never just one finite action and fast decision making is always a part of it. It's a test of who you are in that area of your life in which the eclipse strikes....And, if all that makes sense, great. If not, reread slower.

...And as for the other signs: late born Sagittarians and Geminis can expect love and friendship issues to clash. Late born Leo and Aquarians will deal with integrity and intellectual challenges. Later degree Pisces and Virgos will feel it with their security and intimacy. While late born Scorpio and Taurus issues dealing with health and day-to-day routines will go under the gun.

Uranus Goes Retrograde in Aries

You Just Won't Be Yourself These Days...

As the planet of ingenuity stalls in the sign all about you, don't expect anything about yourself to be the same -- which can be a great or grim thing....Hmmm, time to see how much you love or hate yourself.

...and better late, than never...Here is my fave Style By Sign video of the week: ARIES!

Bite My Style
Due to shooting 24 videos in a day, didn't keep up with the pics of all the outfit changes...but as for my main one, it was simple and sweet: pink heart print dress from Modcloth and black suede wedges from Jeffrey Campbell, which I got years ago and were the first I bought from Jeffrey Campbell and sort of fell apart after the first time I wore them. The wedge is rubber, which doesn't make for the nails holding down the suede to work so well. Most of them stayed in, but you know, you'd expect them all to stay in....Yet, I still bought more shoes from them.

Mercury Enters Aries

Stir The Pot

If you didn't know, Aries is the shit-starter of the zodiac. It's the sign that begins it all and the ruler of rebellion, leadership and war. So, as it comes into control of the communication planet (until May 1), it'll mean breaking out your inner bully to get others to think and do as you want.

Yes, time to play devil's advocate or let loose your most perverse ideologies, as you'll want to shake up the system in anyway you know how, because if you want any excitement, it'll mean stirring the pot.

As for areas in which you'll get the most action and attraction, focus your fire in these areas (and don't forget to also read your rising sign too):

Aries: Changing personal goals, pursuing new ideas, and feeding your ego.
Taurus: Seeking new creative ventures, dealing with your inner demons, and your road to nirvana.
Gemini: Having humanitarian missions, increasing your social life, and living for your aspirations.
Cancer: Upping your popularity, your sense of authority and career.
Leo:  Taking a bigger interest in travel, spirituality and having more independence.
Virgo: Indulging in your finances, fetishes and passions.
Libra: Wanting peace of mind, establishing balance and enjoying the finer things of living.
Scorpio: Trying out new methods in dealing with health, organization and seeing results.
Sagittarius: Having more love, fun and worship.
Capricorn: Accepting what nurtures you, your home and long-term goals.
Aquarius: Taking up new ways to communication, learn and be a part of your community.
Pisces: Revising your values, clearing debts, and expanding your comfort zone.

New Moon In Aries

Adventure!

Today, I ventured off to new places in hopes of experiencing something beyond. First on the list: Cassadaga, the Psychic Capital of The World.

While I do love all of that metaphysical stuff and have been to Lily Dale, I'd have to say Cassadaga left me with a bit of a not so interested feeling. Sure, they had shops with all sorts of artifacts and psychics galore, but there wasn't much else to sink my brain into. Lily Dale by far was more interesting, with lots of sites to see.

Maybe it was the heat and the humidity, but I didn't even take many pictures. However, if this place piqued your interest in anyway, this video pretty much covers what you'll see:

Venus Enters Aries

Deeper, Harder, Fuller.

I just realized it's so apropos that I just made a mix called, Brainwash, comprised of military marching music and other musical propaganda from fucked places and today Venus entered Aries.

...Yup, the pleasure planet is in the sign of war, making now until April 15 days you'll want packed with productivity. If need be,  take in some kool-aid, and get its rush. For me, having added these songs into my head while doing household chores or any menial task, like cleaning dishes, scrubbing the toilet, etc. It makes me feel like I'm getting the job done better, and even better as I go along...and for all mankind....

Mars Enters Aries

Fearlessly tough and ready to roll!

The universe is slightly back in order with the Mars, the planet of war, going back to its cosmic home in Aries. This means 110% pure energy to charge ahead. Destination: invincibility.

To help bring on the vibe, a Mars in Aries theme song with a retro twist. After all, we still have 5 more days of retrograde...

Uranus Goes Direct In Aries

Spew out the crazy.

When it comes to planets, Uranus is the weirdo in the bunch. Factually, it is the coldest planet and it spins strangely from the others, as in the top or bottom faces the sun, making their night times last 40 years. Astrologically, it rules inventiveness, revolution and science. Currently, it is in Aries, which adds an extra dose of uncontrollable energy and today, it stopped retrograding and is going direct. So, that means time to let your crazy back out, but not the nutty kind, but the wild kind, in which you touch upon a sense of genius that turns it out for you and the world, as this is the era about embracing the chaos.

Of course, there is always a dark side to all that is good, so be prudent of your consciousness now too...which leads me to why there is a Lisa Ling report on Meth posted for today, it's because I watched it yesterday. I love Lisa Ling. The lady is smart and bad ass. She represents so good. Plus, she is married to a Korean guy and their babies will wind up looking like me! Sooo lucky for her...Anyway, here is a whole 50 minutes of sad crazy to the umpteenth degree: fallen superheroes, if only in their minds...

P.S. It's in English and subtitled in Spanish.

Uranus goes retrograde in Aries

Reworking what's right for you, no matter who you have to plow down.

Due to the summer and my brain being close to kaput,  what is right for me is to link you the post I wrote about the Uranus retrograde in Aries that took place on July 9th, 2011. Yes, just a few days off from it being an exact year -- see the precision of the planets, it has to mean something, right? Anyway, this post explains info about the transit and what it can mean for each sign: http://fortunekiki.blogspot.com/2011/07/uranus-goes-retrograde-in-aries.html

...and not to be a total lazy shit, but here's another way to cue in ideas for this Rx. Take it away Ja'ime King:

Mercury enters Aries

Feel the extravagance!

Mercury in Aries is time to barrel ahead, go with your gut and take no prisoners while you're sticking to your guns. The more extravagant your ideas and the more danger you are willing to face, the more brilliant your adventures will be. With all things Aries, risk taking is #1 and going against the grain is what is called for, as it's new territory that fuels this sign and the more you venture out on the that limb in the mental sense now, the stronger you will be become. So, try new things and take a chance, as that is the only way to win now!!!!

As for the video below, it's Puccini's Turandot, one of the most opulent operas ever made, about a Princess who doesn't want to get married, but is forced to by the King, her dad. So, to make it hard for her suitors, as she yearns to keep her independence, she makes up impossible riddles for one to solve to win her hand. If a man dares to make an attempt to solve them and gets it wrong, they risk their lives. Of course, one brave soul goes for it and proves to the princess that....

...This particular version below was performed at the Forbidden City is the most lavish one yet....Although I did get to see this at the MET years ago, something I had always wanted to do, this version is the one I would of loved to see...but so is life...and for you non-opera people, if you watch to the end, you will realize you do know this opera, as the music from the finale was made popular by a certain blockbuster movie about a prostitute that wins over a billionaire prince...Anyway, take a chance to watch it and see, you just might fall in love...

Sun in Aries

The Spring Equinox!

The weather has been AMAZING in NYC!!!!! That groundhog was no liar when he saw his shadow and predicted a early spring, because already in the last few weeks of winter the weather has spiked to glorious temperatures! Yes, days of hiked hemlines, outdoor ice coffees and the surest sign of the season in the city, lots-o-roadkill. After all, when the sun is out to stay, the rats are out to play.
