It's the tail end of summer here in Kiki-ville, so trying to stay on top of everything has been a bit more hectic. Throw in an earthquake, hurricane, a massive stream of deadlines, negotiations, random appointments, only a few more days of perfect beach weather and an inability to be an early bird, and well, you have me aligned to work at retrograde speed -- but this time around, it's Jupiter's bump into reverse...

However, since Jupiter is the planet of luck and expansion, despite it hauling its fat ass backwards, it doesn't mean anything bad or as intense as say, a Mercury retrograde. Jupiter is always benevolent, so this mode merely transforms the energy around into a more internal form, and one that may also bring the past back into relevance, but in a positive way...

I don't care that it's the coldest day in NYC this winter, with grayish/yellow ice and snow covering everything; I'm still going to spend my day running about outside in my bikini, because it's mind over matter when it comes to life and if I don't suck up the challenge of obstacles, to get what I ultimately want (Today, it's a rooftop jacuzzi.), then only I am to blame for my dissatisfactions. Besides, nothing ever happens perfectly, and if it did, what would be the point after a while? Perfection is a verb, not a noun. A transitory point of view.

So, today, as Jupiter, the planet of luck and expansion, zips into Aries, the sign of rebellion, the pioneer, and the unforgiving competitor, I say hold tight to the reins and steer yourself onto a new fascinating unknown! A path that amazes and challenges; one that brings out your best fearless leader! If you do, then you can reap the rewards that is Jupiter in Aries (lasts until June 4, 2011).

Plus, the good news is that Aries is also the sign of impatience, so the scenery will change fast, with sudden opportunities and even quicker results -- which will be totally unlike this recent Jupiter in Pisces, which personally for me, worked slow as molasses and went down to the last drop to really give me its flavor...as in its last day revealing the culmination of my efforts finally adding up to a sense arrival... When Jupiter, the planet of luck, goes out of whack, it's time to hold tight, as things that have come easy won't be so anymore. Instead, silly mishaps may replace once airtight schedules and an overall sense of trepidation can interfere. Whatever, it's just how it rolls in life, as we need a bit of yin to get the yang and until November 18, 2010, it'll be just like that.

Jupiter starts conjuncting Neptune

Surreal experiences are prevalent.

Sometime after 9pm, the cab pulled up to the building at Central Park West and 79th street. Nothing so strange or ominous, until entering and an immediate feeling of stepping into a Stanley Kubrick movie started to roll, complete with overly soft lighting, retro decor and slightly eerie people too eager to serve, even to push the elevator buttons. I had no idea why I was here, it was only upon exiting the cab I was informed I was attending two parties, not just one. The elevator ride only allowed enough time to learn I was going to the birthday party of an eccentric arts patron... Arriving onto the 3rd floor, into a tight hallway space covered in dated floral wallpaper that looked expensive for its time, we waited. Momentarily, the doors opened and it was like nothing I ever witnessed before or could of even imagined…






































































































































He claimed this was all because he loved the animals...If this is how he loves, I'd be scared to see how he hates.
