Full Moon In Aquarius (The Blue Moon)

Jump Into The Future

JFK to LAX and back again, in 24 (well, 21 really) hours...There was fun, laughs, sweetness, surprise and suspense! From plane delays, a surprise wedding announcement, reunions and a hotel that looked like the place teen girls go to recover from an abortion. (However, the inside was alright, with a big and bouncy bed.) Oh, the glamour of it all!

Venus Enters Libra

Everything Is Coming Up Rosy

Venus entered Libra today, putting the planet of love, beauty and pleasure into its natural position. Time for swooning and spooning! So love it as your creative muse and and express it!

My latest:
EAT IT, BITCHES
A five-day odyssey with one of my favorite boy/girl. Shlomi and Mazy Mazeltov and me hit Amsterdam and it just happen to be pride week. Weeeheee, the perfect adventure! (Minus the AirBnB experience, which included walking in and seeing a stray cat chilling on the bed, a toilet plunger in the shower and being asked to take out her garbage -- a person I paid way more money to than the place was worth....and that was just a few of the things that grossed me out.)

Pluto And Mars Face Off

There's No Escaping The Dramatics

I must be better than German TV, because I don't think the route to Rheinsberg has seen this much glamour since the turn of two centuries before last. Those little blonde German children couldn't even blink when gazing upon me -- granted, this was only when I was officially in the middle of nowhere Germany and I was on a bus boarded at Neuruppin. A 45-minute ride that gave me just enough time to transform completely in clothes and make-up into something special to reunite with my awesome and amazing Shlomi, who was there to perform in Barber of Seville.

...And even though I was sent a detailed itinerary, down to the minute of each arrival and departure and even approximate walk times between platforms, I still fucked it up. Two minutes before the proper stop, I got off. What the fuck I was thinking? This is Germany and if the arrival time says 13:16, it's 13:16, not 13:14.

If I had any brain, I'd of put it all together before it was too late, seeing that there was no Shlomi, a two-minute time difference and then the nothingness of where the stop was located, as in no castle in sight, which was my destination... So, there I was looking like a craigslist hooker walking down the road in this German countryside with nothing, but field, forest and asphalt surrounding me: Me, Asian and in rhinestoned-encrusted silver heels, animal print short-shorts, red lips, big hair and flashy and obviously fake jewels.

Thankfully, my shoes were comfy and walking wasn't a bitch, even in the dirt. However, the 100 degree weather was. I tried flagging down passing buses, but to no avail -- although a few drivers did wave back...and seeing there were a few buses, I happily assumed the stop had to be somewhere obvious and if walking was the only way, it could be done....but when I got to an abandoned-looking gas station down the road, with only three random characters there, it made me wonder where I was going to wind up, as my resistance was low...Yes, from there I jumped into the back of a van with tinted windows with two complete strangers. One, never did I see without his sunglasses on and the other was shaving in the mirror of the passenger window and saying in seconds they had to be at the castle in a hurried manner like The White Rabbit in Alice in Wonderland, but resembling the professor from Back To The Future.

Seems they just happen to be on their way to meet their old friend for lunch, the Creative Director of the opera, and was heading to the castle too! Hoorah! I didn't even care if they were actually serial rapists at that point, I just wanted out from the sun and being anywhere other than were I was...but all was fine and my wacky new friends were a pure delight. If anything, my entrance into town was even more dramatic that planned.

...Yet, that was only the start of the amazing time to come and the fabulous people I'd meet...

P.S. As for my 2¢ about the production: WUNDERBAR! PHANTASTISCH! I have seen many operas (mostly at the MET. My favorite opera is La Cenerentola) and this is my second time seeing Barber of Seville. The first time was at the Vienna Opera House, but the Rheinsberg production superseded that experience and will be the Barber of Seville I will remember always.

ENVY MY socks
#8

Today was a day made for hot dog socks. I got them this summer on the boardwalk, at Coney Island. A real find for someone like me -- and you better believe I was at the register with my cash out quicker than you can spell mustard... I can't explain, something about them screamed excitement, as I knew these socks were meant to go places.

On today's itinerary: Discovering Columbus, the amazing installation at Columbus Circle, which unfortunately is only temporary -- like most of the decent public art that's funded in NYC, but so is a city that thrives on what's transitory.

....and in my latest obsession: Tatzu Nishi's work, a fun fact I learned is that Tatzu Nishi isn't his real name. He is constantly changing his name as another of his projects. He sees his name as 西野達, so using English letters holds no sentiment. Badass!

Full Moon In Taurus

Rock You Like A Hurricane

My 6-Day Hurricane Odyssey:
Hershey to Collegeville to Philadelphia to Trenton to Lower East Side to Brooklyn and back again....

What I learned from Hurricane Sandy:

  • When natural disaster is coming, in PA, the water and donuts are the first to go.
  • Sequins are the perfect fashion statement to wear for an extreme weather outing.
  • I have no friends above 39th St.
  • Hitchhiking is the fastest way to get around NYC during a power outage.
  • Being a 3-day Takata-Möller was the best! Bonsai for friends that make being a refugee so fun, easy and decadent.

Sun In Scorpio

ENVY MY sense of oblivion
#6

Hurricane Sandy may be surging up the coast, right into the NYC area, but whateverrr? There is a corn maze in the shape of a kangaroo I have to get to and the scent of chocolate in the air to sniff. It may be the storm of the century, but its not going to ruin my road trip. Destination: Hershey, PA.

...and on a side note, it's only appropriate I am with my friends Greg and Rick. Every time we get together, there is a catastrophic event. It's like we are some sort of trinity of tragedy. When we align, doom prevails. Our track record: the Northeast blackout of 2003, the Great White concert disaster, the Indian Ocean Tsunami...and now Sandy...

Sun Enters Scorpio

ENVY MY __________
#1

The sun has made its way to Scorpio; Death Star 2012 is in the house. Time for heightened dramas, explosive intensity, miraculous transformations, and profound jealousies. Yes, many maniacal misunderstandings in the making too, but so are the times symbolized by such a tiny, but deadly animal that strikes suddenly, without fear or sound, gunning for fatality.

....Amid this, I bid adieu to the blissful times of Libra with an enviable weekend before the darkness falls...Highlights:

*A haunted Saturday with two of my all-time
favorite Pisces, John and Jay.
*Fall foliage
*Sleepy Hallow
*Getting a pic with the Headless Horseman--so much better than Santa.
*Buying cute Lego rings at the Hester St. Fair : Me & Mo (Taurus).
*Trying on cute headbands at the Green Flea off Columbus Ave.
*A surprise hang with my friend Jaime (Aquarius), fresh off the first rally he organized, to get the rec center in his neighborhood open (how Aquarius). Go Jamie! ...and our total geek out with our new iphones.
*Catching my friend Peg Simone (Aries) perform at Treehouse, amazing!

Mars enters Scorpio

Put the bass in your walk.

This is no time to be shy! Although Scorpio is the sign of secrets and mystery, there is a difference between being coy and being a puppet master. So, as Mars, the planet of power, ambition, sex, passion and war has entered Scorpio, one of its rulers and also synonymous with sex, power, intensity, death and transformation, be ready to give all you've got into all that you want, because now is when anything short of obsession isn't going to win your battles -- as this is the time to be consumed by your desires or have them consume you. Play it like a Scorpio, as in ready to go full on kamikaze if need be, as its dedication like that, that will make you who you want to be, in the life you crave.

As for areas per sign you have until October 6th to make and see a total transformation:
Aries: Finances
Taurus: Beauty
Gemini: Obligations
Cancer: Love
Leo: Family
Virgo: Expression
Libra: Possessions
Scorpio: Confidence
Sagittarius: Imagination
Capricorn: Friendships
Aquarius: Career
Pisces: Freedom

Back when I was a horny little teen, I use to keep a Lust List in my journal -- all the guys I thought were hot and totally doable....and it was back then that my libido was my driving force, and I guess even to this day, it still is, as I have accepted that I forever will have a crazy teenybopper in me that lives to lust like a hormonally imbalanced head case....so to keep that fresh feeling alive, here is sampling of my latest lusts for the fun of it...After all, this is the transit of the sex planet in the sex sign...

Full Moon in Scorpio

Reach deeper into yourself.

Ok, it's actually May 31st and I'm waaaay behind on keeping up my posts. So, its fairly inconsequential what the full moon in Scorpio means and how it can affect anyone now (full and new moon's energy typically lasts two weeks)...but no matter, as this moon is all about the unknown and stepping into an intense twist of fate. So, hope yours was thrilling...

For me, it began with a bang--as in vegging out at under the waterfalls of Ein Gedi, floating away on the Dead Sea and watching the full moon in Scorpio rise over the mountains of Jordan with two of my most favorite people--FLC and Sheelomi SaSa...and it so happens to be one degree off an exact alignment with my natal moon, which means miracles in store -- as in, I'll always have today...

Pluto goes retrograde in Capricorn

Enter the dark side (insert maniacal laugh).

My afternoon in one of the most bizarro places on earth, The Holy Land, a religious theme "experience" in the outskirts of Orlando.... Some of you might have seen it in Religulous (click this link to watch the film), where Bill Maher interviews Jesus (click this link to read about the film) -- and it's no joke, this is the land of 10,000 Jesus...

Full Moon in Libra, my natal 5th house

"I believe the children are our future..."

Having spent my last week and a half with my favorite person in the universe, J.T. Superstar, my cutie pie 4-yr.old nephew, I can't think straight because all my thoughts circle back to him and all the fun times we just had...So, since this full moon happens to fall in my 5th house, the ruler of children, you are just going to have to get inundated with cute images of the best person in my world, as it's an obsessive love that keeps giving and giving!

*7 cute facts about J.T. Superstar:
  • He thinks his Aunt Kiki is the prettiest girl in the world--even though he does have a crush on Beyonce, and says we're both pretty. The pic of him in the lazy boy in his mismatched PJs looking starry-eyed is when he happen to see B performing at Glastonbury on TV....and lil cutie is a one woman boy, as I asked him if he liked her backup dancers too, and he said, "No, just her." Thank god he has good taste!!!!
  • He never matches his PJs anymore after I introduced him to the world of mix and match.
  • He's a lil man with many personas: robot, inventor, zombie, detective, international playboy, etc.
  • Oh, and BTW, Lil J. is my brother Garrett's son--so he's the dude in the pics with us.
  • He's up for a dance party anywhere, especially on top of your bed.
  • He's as sweet as he is smart and handsome; note the little flower by the frog we found in the park. He picked it for him or her. CUTE!
  • He has his own Youtube channel that has snippets throughout his whole cute life! Guess who started it....

HOTNESS!!!

YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH! Uruguay is the winner of the Copa America 2011!!!!!!!!! (Not a surprise after beating Argentina to go into the semifinals!!!!!)  ....AND OMG, they played the hottest game ever!!!!

Diego Forlán is pure hotness, savaging his reputation as the golden boy of the team by finally scoring a goal in the 42nd minute and then hauling ass and making the game insanely amazing by scoring a third point in the LAST MINUTE!!!! Yes, three generations of champion genes is in that boy!!!!!

....and of course that Luis Suárez was on fire as always, as each of his goals were made in sheer perfection--especially that one he salvaged from Diego's attempt during the Peru match!!!!! I love a team that truly works together and can look so hot all the while.

...and boooo for the Paraguay goalie for winning best goalie of the tournament. Sure, glad the country finally won something, but Fernando Muslera kicked ass--and hello, Uruguay won the tournament! He made the win from Argentina possible--and those players are considered the top of the game!!! Plus, Fernando is HOTNESS PERSONIFIED! He reminds me of the cute Jai Rodriguez from Queer Eye, but a straight and super-buff-in-just-the-right-way version...

Anyway, waaah to the end of the Copa America, but BONSAI to Uruguay winning and putting themselves in #1 place for wins of the Copa America with a record 15!!!!!!! La Celeste is the best!!!!!!!!!!! They make watching soccer fun, even if you don't know any of the rules (like me)--because with so much hotness, who cares how it's played, as long as its got flair!

Now here is my slideshow of the hotness that is La Celeste:
In order of appearance:
Diego Forlán (Taurus, the consummate gentleman)
Fernando Muslera (Gemini, the playful spark of excitement)
Sebastian Coates (Libra, the gracious charmer)
Diego Lugano (Scorpio, the steadfast and mysterious enigma)
Luis Suárez (Aquarius, the electric and kinetic force of nature)
Martín Cáceres (Aries, the winsome warrior)

Uranus Retrograde 4.34

...and speaking of Uranus...

Of all asinine things I've been curious about, I've had a long curiosity about getting a colonic. Maybe because I’m a Scorpio, and it rules the excretory organs or maybe because I’m a sun and moon in the 6th house, and have a fascination with health and a commitment to being a germaphobe…. Whatever the case, it just sounds smart…but of course, I’m vain, so I needed a bigger motive to get on it, and that came by way of a convo at a party, when talking to girl that worked at a colonic clinic, that told me people lose weight from it and she even had someone drop close to 20 lbs after their first visit! Holy shit!!!! With that, I was sold!
