Jupiter enters Aries
Let loose your wildest dreams.
Hit the road with the fabulous and wonderfully talented Peg Simone to promote her new CD, Secrets From The Storm and to vicariously live out my rock-n-roll fantasies. Fun times, including attending my friend Aya's fab Mustache Sisters event at the Philadelphia Art Museum with amazing Italian opera and developing 48 hour crushes on boys we'll never see again...and we're off... (To turn off the music, click on the sound icon on upper left corner.)

Neptune goes retrograde in Aquarius
What you see isn't always what you get.
If my brain wasn't swallowed up by PMS, I'd write something inspiring, informative or at least a little funny about Neptune retrograde...but instead, I found these two, and they say it all! Too cute!!!! Love them! Take it away Purple Moon Flowers...

Saturn goes direct in Virgo
Forward ho!

After this retrograde started on January 13th, back in Libra, sorting out the facts may have been a bit cloudy, but weee, now, times are a changing and some sensible insight is on its way. Even if it'll be kind of slow, consider today the turning point and a cosmic light bulb moment. Yes, forward ho!
As for where you’ll see some relief…
(P.S. read your sun and rising sign for maximum insight.)

Uranus enters Aries
When making sense turns subjective.
Ever since Uranus went into Aries I can't stop thinking about fried chicken. In particular, this sandwich:

Last Sunday I wandered into the cutest restaurant that resembled a barn, (Cheeky Sandwiches), looking for an ice coffee. Little did I know it would house one of the greatest culinary creations I'd seen in ages — the fried chicken sandwich on a homemade buttermilk biscuit with gravy and slaw. If I didn't already just scarf down a kimchi dog, it would have been down my throat already...So I swore I'd be back.
...After a few days of hitting the gym extra hard, and obsessing on this sandwich as if it were Christmas, I gave myself the green light to go get it and OMG, did it live up to the anticipation: juicy, tasty, crispy, milky and oh so comforting — YUM! ...words can not describe...and if only the story ended there...but it was the awakening of my secret obsession for fried chicken that grew day after day. The next day, while riding my bike past Kyochon Chicken, the latest fried chicken chain to hit Koreatown, NYC, forces beyond me pulled me in and momentarily, there I was with my Original Sal Sal Chicken Strips.
While I loved it, it wasn't as succulent as I'd wish, but fulfilling none the less and I ate ever crumb of the 6 piece box as if I were on death row and even contemplated getting a few more after. Yes, delicious! ...But instead of hopping back in line, I then got lost in memories of the most delicious pieces of fried chicken I've had through the years like some whacked out lovelorn ex. Obviously, KFC and Chick-fil-A have its own untouchable panache, but other NYC choices that I feel carry the torch in which I can't resist are:
Anyway, with this transit lasting for the next 7 years, I can only hope I can control myself...Until then, expect more fried chicken updates to come...

- F&B, which has the best chicken frites ever, but are no more, at least on 23rd in NYC.
- Oh My Chicken in Flushing, Queens that hopefully have fixed their menu to not read, "One taste you forget after one bite."
- Erb Thai in Greenpoint that has delicious popcorn chicken with tangy dipping sauce that melts all cares away...like how I think I'm a vegetarian.
Anyway, with this transit lasting for the next 7 years, I can only hope I can control myself...Until then, expect more fried chicken updates to come...

Full moon in Sagittarius
Celebrating expansion...in whatever way that means to you.

Little did i know I would take on this day so literally...I bought this beautiful dress on Saturday., and was going to rock it out tonight for a party to launch a new mag, Richardson, but argh, thanks to PMS and most likely the large amount of my favorite yummy cookies from Parisi Bakery in Astoria, Queens that my amazing friend Jay, a Pisces (an artist, of course), brought over, I no longer fit in it. Just 5 days later and my boobs have expanded beyond this dress! WTF! Wish I had something else exciting to report, but I don't. So, Happy full moon in Sag....and here's hoping to my boobs deflating soon! xoxo, K.

Moon In Scorpio
From deep inside your body will churn.
I use to think rat road kill was the most disgusting of all the urban decay, never stopping to snap the many dead pigeons I’ve seen — as they never looked so detrimental or so shockingly gruesome that I had to shoot it…at the least, they get to fly, not like rats who never know freedom beyond the want of survival…. but today, today I changed my mind…
Those INTESTINES! THAT EYE! THAT EYE IN THE BEAK!!!! It’s just TOO horrid for words. It’s SO INTENSE; it’s impossible not to feel as if you can smell the repulsion from just looking.(Click on pic for the complete vomit-inducing effect.)
...and speaking of intensity, and Scorpionic insanities, today my obsession with The Real Housewives of New Jersey took control and I had to trek my ass over to see the mess that is Danielle, who was doing a Q&A/book signing for her new memoir, The Naked Truth. Through traffic I rode my bike from way east downtown, through the midtown rush hour and on over to the upper west side, making it just in time to catch her in all her glory: the spray-tanned skin, the tight black dress, the perfectly manicured nails, the blown out hair, the utterly botoxed face and of course, nipples sticking right out to say, "Hello!" It just makes me love her even more.

...and of the most memorable moments of this otherwise fairly anti-climatic event: the insane fan in the front row that kept raising his hand to give his almost tearful monologues about how she is his inspiration, how fabulous he thinks she is, how she is such a great mom, etc. etc., etc, and how could I not love how she repeated several times throughout the Q&A in a completely solemn tone that she was, "not a victim, but a victor." Pure inspiration!

Moon and Venus in my 8th house
Lurid pleasures.
Here is a video of my two newest heroes. This couple came to the park today and set up a tent to get it on outside on this beautiful spring afternoon. The light hit the tent in just a way, so we were able to see most of the show. The craziest part, when they were done, as we all anxiously awaited them to emerge, out came a well-dressed couple that just walked away, leaving the tent, never to return. LOVE THEM!
